EFBE TRI-TEST — Tested Beyond the Bar
(LITERALLY)
The STEM V1 has been independently tested through the EFBE TRI-TEST, putting the stem through demanding structural and fatigue testing designed to assess its performance under severe loading.
The STEM V1 successfully passed every test carried out on the stem to EFBE EPAC gravity 2024:
-
Fatigue test — Handlebar / Stem: Passed
-
Maximum load test — Right side: Passed
-
Maximum / Overload test — Both sides: Passed
During the maximum/overload testing, the test assembly was subjected to a force of 3,000 N, at which point the handlebar fractured on the right side.
The STEM V1 remained intact.
In other words, the stem outlasted the handlebar it was tested with.
For us, this is more than a specification on a page. The STEM V1 was designed for aggressive downhill and freeride riding, so we wanted to put the component through serious independent testing rather than simply relying on design claims.
Tested. Passed. Built to ride.
